Ellie
Hi! I’m Ellie, I’m 18, and I have a small problem... I can’t look at an interesting character without immediately thinking, “I could probably make that costume.” Sometimes I see a character in a movie, game, anime, or comic and suddenly my brain starts designing an entire cosplay before I even remember what I was doing five minutes ago. I love creating costumes, experimenting with makeup, wigs, accessories, and all those tiny details that somehow take three hours to finish. My room occasionally looks less like a bedroom and more like a very confused costume workshop. There are fabrics, sketches, random decorations, and mysterious objects everywhere. I always tell myself, “This will be a quick project...” and then, several hours later, I’m still adding one tiny detail that nobody will probably notice. But I’ll notice... and that’s what matters.
Musical
Music is another huge part of my life... and apparently I decided that playing one instrument would be far too reasonable. I enjoy learning different musical instruments, experimenting with sounds, and figuring out how melodies work. I can jump from one instrument to another depending on my mood, which sometimes makes me feel like a tiny one-person orchestra. I love the moment when something that sounded completely impossible suddenly starts making sense after enough practice. Of course, there are also moments when it sounds like I’m personally trying to convince my neighbors that silence is overrated. But hey, every musician has to start somewhere. I especially love experimenting rather than always playing things perfectly. Sometimes I’ll hear a melody and immediately want to recreate it, change it, or turn it into something completely different. Music gives my creativity another language... although my instruments occasionally wish I would speak more quietly.
Adventure
I think the best thing about being creative is never knowing what I’ll become interested in next. Today it might be a new cosplay, tomorrow it could be a completely different instrument, and the day after that I might decide I absolutely need to learn a new artistic skill for no logical reason. I love discovering new things and challenging myself with projects that initially look way too complicated. I’m curious, energetic, and always looking for something that makes my imagination wake up and start running around. I don’t need everything to be perfect — I just want it to be interesting. My life is basically a collection of ideas, unfinished masterpieces, successful experiments, spectacular mistakes, and a suspicious amount of craft supplies. And honestly... I wouldn’t change it. There’s always another character to become, another melody to learn, or another ridiculous idea waiting around the corner.
Creative
Creativity is basically my default setting. I can’t really sit around doing nothing because my brain immediately starts inventing something unnecessary but exciting. Give me some paper, paint, fabric, clay, or literally anything I can turn into something else, and I’m already planning a project. I love drawing, crafting, decorating, designing, and experimenting with completely random ideas. The fun part is that I rarely know where an idea will end. I can start with a simple sketch and somehow end up planning an entire costume, room decoration, or imaginary fantasy universe. My imagination has absolutely no respect for schedules. I might say, “I’ll just make one little thing,” and then suddenly it’s midnight and I’m surrounded by materials wondering how this became a full-scale creative operation. I guess my brain simply refuses to believe that “too many ideas” is a real problem.
Chaos
If you ever see me surrounded by costumes, makeup, art supplies, musical instruments, and several unfinished projects... congratulations, you’ve discovered my natural habitat. I have a habit of starting one creative idea while already thinking about three others. Organization and I have a complicated relationship. I try to make neat plans, but then inspiration appears and completely destroys the schedule. One minute I’m sewing something for a cosplay, the next I’m playing an instrument, and somehow twenty minutes later I’m drawing a completely unrelated character. I honestly think my brain has twenty tabs open at all times, and none of them know which one is playing music. The funny thing is, I actually enjoy this chaos. Creating things is much more fun when everything doesn’t go exactly according to plan. Sometimes the weirdest accidents become my favorite ideas. So if something looks slightly strange... there’s a good chance I planned it that way. Probably.
